The song names in Groundhog Day (1993) are commentaries on the scenes dynamics at the time they play: Ray Charles' "You Don't Know Me" in the park, Nat King Cole's "Almost Like Being In Love" later on, and of course "I Got You Babe" which plays for the last time when they finally wake up together

There is a scene in a hospital where in the background you can see a young boy with a broken leg. This is later the boy that Phil (Bill Murray) saves from falling.

Time stands still. I just noticed this for the first time today after dozens, if not hundreds, of viewings. The clocks next to Phil in the diner, which all have second hands, are not running.
