: If you look closely at the Chefs hands and arms you will see small cuts and minor burns that change from scene to scene. When Linguine first starts to cook you will notice that he has more then other chefs.

There is a scene with the Health Inspector, barging into the Restaurant with a picture of his face on the wall. This poster is present throughout the entire movie whenever this section of the restaurant is shown.

Remy gets scared by a dog which we can only see through it's shadow. If you look closely you can see that the dog is actually Doug from Up. Disney is foreshadowing their own movie which would come out two years after.

When Linguini is chopping leeks for the soup you can see a green smear on the cutting board that actually happens when cutting green vegtables. Also his bite marks are still there from when Remy bit him a couple of days before.

Chef Skinner is angry at Linguini's success. But Skinner is also getting some media attention; there's an article about him jumping into the Seine River.

Git (Remy's abnormally large friend) has a tag on his ear. This is because he was formally a lab rat injected with steroids

Remy sees a couple kissing passionately after the woman threatens to shoot the man. Later, when Colette is about to mace Linguini, Remy makes Linguini kiss Colette the same way.

When Linguini's job is at risk and Remy (Linguini's only hope) has started to run away, the camera plays with perspective to physically show the characters' situations. Linguini is small and vulnerable like a mouse and Remy is large and the one with the power to help.

Collette yells at Linguini that he "can't be mommy" in the kitchen, yet cooking ratatouille like Ego's mother is what won over the critic at the end of the film.

Remy's brother is named Emile. While it is spelled Emile when, pronounced phonetically it sounds like "a meal" relating to the food aspect of Ratatoulile.

I just noticed in Ratatouille (2007) there is a scene where Remi is figuring out he is in Paris and a dog barks at him. That dog is Doug from Up (2009)!

Remi reads from Chef Gusteau's cookbook the roles of different workers in the kitchen. Later (in Gusteau's kitchen) he explains the different jobs to ghost Gusteau.

The critic Anton Ego says that 'if I don't like the food, I don't swallow'. He is also incredibly thin. At the end of the movie when he visits Remy's new restaurant, his face is noticeably rounder, implying that he loves Remy's cooking so much he eats there regularly.

Remy gets the idea to cook ratatouille "just like mom used to make" because of Colette's lesson where she told Linguini that he wouldn't have time to do that in a restaurant, a move Remy knew would impress the food critic.

Remy bites Linguini's hand when he's trying to get him to grab a different ingredient. A few scenes later, we see a red mark on Linguini's hand where he was bitten.

The moment Linguini almost told Colette about Remy (the rat) who was the true Chef and not him. As he was about to reveal his biggest secret of success which could have destroyed him ended at a sweet romantic kiss which revealed the hidden affection Colette had for Linguini.
