There are numerous scenes of corn fields. Combines are seen working throughout the movie but the corn hasn't tasseled yet, meaning there isn't a single kernel on any of those plants that are being harvested.
Cooper wears an automatic watch, which winds itself using the wearer's natural movement. After he wakes up from several months in cryostasis he can be seen manually adjusting the time and date as his watch would have stopped after a few motionless days.
Cooper initiates a 60 RPM spin while docking the Endurance, and the tempo of the background music is 60 BPM
The world is suffering from a blight and the last crop left is corn. The dinner table has only items made from corn on it (pancakes, chowder, cornbread, corn syrup).
