Tangled Movie Facts, Easter Eggs and hidden details

All around Rapunzel's house there are symbols from other Disney movies: Sleeping Beauty's spinning wheel, Snow White's apple, a rose and a wardrobe that looks like Madame Armoire from Beauty and the Beast, a seashell from The Little Mermaid and Cinderella's slipper

Many of the icons of Rapunzel's journey are seen on the mobile above her bed as a baby - chameleon, white horse, duckling and Cupid.

A book version of The Little Mermaid (1989) can be seen towards the top of the screen on the chair.

Disney's Moana, (2016) the magical flower that gave Rapunzel's hair healing powers in Tangled (2011) can be briefly seen at the end of the film being healed among other dead flowers.

The two lackeys in the tavern scene in Tangled (2010) are named after Director Nathan Greno and producer Roy Conli.

There's a split second in which Rapunzel reaches out desperately to save Mother Gothel--even after she stabs Eugene! It's so fast you might miss it, but it shows the huge impact that long-term emotional abuse can have.

In 3 seconds we get a foreshadowing of the adventures Rapunzel will have once leaving her tower. The horse (Max), Duck (Snuggly Duckling Inn), (out of frame) a cupid that basically represents Shorty, chameleon (Pascal) and a Bird (the birds that surround her when she's free)

Eugene tells us from the beginning of the movie that he will not die.

After Mother Gothel says "I love you most" to Rapunzel instead of kissing her forehead Mother Gothel kisses Rapunzel's hair, which is her source of youth.

The lantern that Rapunzel lofts back into the sky is the one lit by the queen and king (her true parents)

Rapunzel's mobile above her cot has a little Pascal and Maximus.

Mother Gothel always focuses on Rapunzels hair even covering her face and talking to it treating her "daughter" secondarily, Flynn on the other hand is seen brushing hair out of Rapunzels face and eventually cuts it as he finds her happiness to be more important

You can see Rapunzels reflection on Flynn's eye.

During the lantern ceremony Rapunzel lifts a lantern back into the air. This lantern has her fathers crest on it. Unique to only his lantern (As explained in Tangled: the animated series). This symbolizes her lifting her fathers hopes of her return.

Flynn Rider gets the attention of the guard on purpose to get them to chase him and the other thugs, then leads them to the cliff. By doing this we was able to get the other two arrested and make off with the crown.

When Rapunzel leans over Flynn at the very end, she moves to brush her hair back out of her face...

When Flynn Rider gets stabbed, there was no blood on knife because it would loose its PG rating.

Rapunzel apparently is the most realistic princess: She has buck teeth and a lazy eye, as seen in her reflection when she realizes who she is

When Rapunzel looks at a Word Map, the name Brasil (with S, as in Portuguese) is written with a long S (s) instead a short S (s), so the movie probably is set before the 19th century.

Mother Gothel's dress is red with a blueish/black cloak in the entire movie except for the first time we see her in the movie.
