The World's End Movie Facts, Easter Eggs and hidden details

Davy Jones used a series of buckets to come to the shore to parlay.

Sam and Stephen pass by a sign saying "2 for 1 main meals" maybe referencing the Twins that were fought seconds earlier.

Peter hides in a cubicle while fighting in The Cross Hands, exactly what he did to hide from his bully, which he mentioned about 2 minutes earlier.

It turns out Andy was completely correct when he wondered what was causing everyone to lose phone reception.

At the beginning of the movie when young Gary is overlooking Newton Haven after the first pub crawl, you can see The Network arriving in an asteroid.

There is still a Blockbuster store in Newton Haven town centre, further supporting the idea that nothing has changed in the town since the invasion.

One of the last pubs they have to get through is called "The King's Head" - and the portrait of said King on the sign above the place is strikingly uncanny in resemblance to main character, Gary King. (Sorry for potato phone pic)

When Gary joins Sam in the washroom, a sign on the wall references a comment made by Gary earlier in the film.

Oliver is seen showing a house to a couple in the beginning. This is the same couple his blank is showing houses to at the end.

The colors blue and green represent those who have lost their freedom to The Network. But in the beginning of the film, Gary wears all green and lives in a green room. (more explanation in comments)

Gary makes fun of Andy for ordering water. Andy explains that it takes confidence ordering water at a "bar packed with bug ugly bastards wearing war paint," which is exactly what Gary does at the end of the movie.

At the beginning of the film, Andy says Newton Haven is 'hardly the centre of the organic revolution'. This foreshadows to later in the film, when the 'empties' are 'mulched and converted into fertiliser to promote verdancy and growth'

Andy remarks that perhaps their phones are getting no reception due to the network. It is later revealed that it was, in fact, the Network that was behind it.

Gary King's beer at the first pub is almost empty compared to everyone else's. This is the same at the second pub, further exemplifying his alcoholism.

At the end of first fight with the blanks none of the characters phones are working despite having full coverage. Andy remarks "It must be the network". We later learn that the blanks are part of a group called "The Network".

The drink special for one of the pubs is 5 shots for 4. Gary orders the 5 drink special, knowing only 4 of them drink.

The phrase "Join Our Club" is shown as Simon Pegg's Gary King enters the World's End, the last pub of the crawl. This reflects/foreshadows The Network's assimilation attempts.

The opening recollection about the boy's last attempt at the golden mile foreshadows everything that will happen in the movie. Also, the pub names are all significant (see comments).

Pub number 10 is called The King's Head and features a portrait closely resembling the main character, Gary King

During the bathroom fight, Steven get his face pushed into a puddle of piss that occured earlier in the scene.

Every pub has a respective number in the film.

The hiphop track playing during the bar fight seamlessly cross-fades into the original score, creating a brilliant mashup (around the 1:20 mark).

In order to reach the Parlay on the beach, Davy Jones has to use a trail of water buckets for each step on land.

Everyone but Gary stands up when Sam enters the room, much like medieval times, in where everyone but the (Gary) King you stand. He then proceeds to greet Sam in German and French, two monarchies known for being chock full of inbred morons.
