While searching the internet for Aladdin movie facts, I found some interesting little known details. Obscure enough that most people could miss it, I want to make you a favor by creating ordered lists with the most intriguing hidden details.

In Disney's 'Aladdin', the Genie sings "Well, Ali Baba had them forty thieves, Scheherazade had a thousand tales." Scheherazade actually had One thousand and one Arabian tales, but one of them was the tale of Aladdin.

In Genies cave you can clearly see a Lamassu statue. Agrabah is supposedly located on ancient Sumerian territory. Maybe Genies last master was an Anunnaki giant. -
When Aladdin puts Jafar back into the lamp, the spell on the other characters is broken. Rajah the tiger jumps into the Sultan's arms. When Rajah hits his arms and starts to grow back into a tiger, just before he becomes normal, his face appears as Mickey Mouse for one frame. -
Genie wears a Hawaiian shirt and Goofy hat near the end of the film as a tribute to Robin Willams' outfit in the 1989 short "Back To Neverland" that was filmed for Disney's MGM Studios. -
In the scene where the Sultan is stacking his animal figures, the camera scrolls up, you can see the Beast from Beauty and the Beast as one of the creatures on the left-hand side of his "pyramid". -
When the Genie is explaining to Aladdin how it works, we can see the drawings from the original animated movie. -
When Genie is explaining the process of wishes, he uses a diagram that references the 1992 film's cartoon version of the characters. -
Jafar steals the Sultan's ring to find the"diamond in the rough" for his own greed. The lie he gives is to find a suitable husband for Jasmine. He finds Aladdin -
When the Genie and Aladdin are talking about Princess Jasmine, the magic carpet can bee seen making a sand castle that resembles Disney's classic castle. -
During the song Friend Like Me, Genie says "Let me take your order sir" and writes the order in Arabic -
When the genie is granting Aladdin's wish to make him a prince, he pulls Sebastian from The Little Mermaid out of his cookbook. -
When showing Jasmine where Ababwa is on the map, you can see Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland -
When Aladdin is looking for "Ababwa" in the maps, Genie paints the Magic Kingdom in the process, with a few of its landmarks painted in and some labeled areas like Tomorrow Land.
Hidden Details



The Magic Carpet can be seen recreating Cinderella's Castle from the opening logo, complete with the "Sparkle Trail"







When the genie pushes the end card out of frame, you can see the bottom is punched with holes used specifically to align frames in traditional animation (further explanation in comments)
When the sultan I stacking toy animals, one of the is Beast from Beauty and the Beast.
Iago the parrot sees humans after getting hit in the head, a neat inversion of the cartoon human seeing birds trope
This is the moment Jasmine realizes that Prince Ali is the street kid from earlier. I never noticed it before.

Will Smith very briefly does the Carlton dance

During 'Prince Ali', the genie portrays Harry and June. Two fictional hosts of the Macy's thanks giving day parade, if you look closely they both have condensation on their breath from the cold weather around the time of year the parade is held.

Jafar 'steals' the Sultan's ring, stating he will use it to find Jasmine's suitor. While his intention was to find the 'diamond in the rough', he also found Jasmine's eventual husband.

Song "Friend like me" Genie specifies to have 'all of column B' which is made of healthy fruits and only 'some of column A', made of meats and cheeses


Even after Genie's freedom he still gives just what was wished for

During the Prince Ali song the Genie impersonates commentators from a winter parade and you can see the breath coming out of Genie's mouth since he is pretending to be in the cold.

I am pretty sure that you've watched Aladdin, maybe in a theater near you or on the small screen, but probably not many of the small details have taken your attention.
