While filming the "Day-O" scene in Beetlejuice (1988) it was Dick Cavett's suggestion that they shoot the attacking shrimp hands in reverse because the guy's under the table couldn't tell when or where to grab the actor's faces, they missed altogether or occasionally poked some eyes.

Bee Hidden Facts




The rows of beehives are meant to look like rows of gravestones.

The waiting room has a sign that says "No Exit". "No Exit" is a 1944 existentialist play by Sartre about people in an afterlife waiting room.

Bumblbee is unable to speak so he communicates by cycling through different radio stations. At the end of the film when he says "My name is Bumblebee" all the words are from radio broadcasts except for the word "Bumblebee" which is a recording of Charlie calling him by that name.

Otho says "You know what they say about people who commit suicide. In the afterlife, they become civil servants." Before this scene it showed all of the workers in the afterlife with self-inficted wounds.
Baron Wolfhausen is goaded into taking the final bet. He then orders Spectator #1 be killed which is the name of his character.
There is an obviously missing door close sound effect in the final film.

Landfill goes to jail and turns Muslim. Later, he's woken up by his wife and eats ham.
During the U-Boat scene, Baron von Wolfhausen (J?rgen Prochnow) mentions "...I had a bad experience in one of these once." This is a nod to Prochnow's role in Das Boot.

- During the tandem bicycle ride home, Fink's glasses accidentally fall off his face when they pull up to Todd's house. He deftly catches them, briefly surprising himself.

When Bee and Dropkick are fighting in the shipyards, Bee gets thrown by Dropkick and as he is in midair he transforms to vehicle mode and turns around and Superman punches Dropkick which is an homage to the original G1 cartoon where Jazz did that exact thing in the intro to the show


The realtor's daughter rolls up the car window when Lydia approaches to ask what happened to the Maitland's.

Bee Plot
Barry B. Benson, a bee just graduated from college, is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry's life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans actually eat honey, and subsequently decides to sue them.
