Just before the big meet up, you see the reflection of The Wolfpack's car in Mr. Chows sunglasses. A homage to Casino, where Robert De Niro also has his meet up and also talks about his uncertainty going into the Las Vegas dessert.
There's a scene right before they meet Carlos' mom where Alan says "It's got, uh, Ted Danson and Magnum P.I. And that Jewish actor." The film he's talking about is 3 Men and a Baby, obviously referencing the characters' current circumstances.

When Alan has flashbacks while picturing everyone as a kid except Teddy & The Monk, he pictures Chow as well further confirming they exchanged letters as well as childhood pictures.
