Iron Man 2 Movie Trivia
Tony tells Pepper to wear a surgical mask because she's sick. This is an ad-libbed line made up by Robert Downey Jr. on the spot because, in this scene, Gwyneth Paltrow was actually sick.
You can see Elon Musk appear as a cameo in the racing lobby scene. In a meeting they had together in the past, Elon Musk is said to have contributed in inspiring Robert Downey Jr's interpretation for Tony Stark's character and quirks.
Walking onto the track in Monaco, Ivan Vanko's pot jacket says "B. Turgenov". In the comics, Boris Turgenov was a KGB agent, who, along with Black Widow, was assigned to dispose of Anthony Stark and Anton Vanko.

When discussing Tony's involvement with the Avengers, a map pinpointing every future movie location is shown in the background, including Wakanda and possibly Atlantis.
During Fury and Stark's meeting, you can see a map of locations where each future Avenger was located. (Malibu - Iron Man; New Mexico - Thor; Greenland - Captain America; etc). Even Namor was hinted this early, since a location in the south Atlantic is encircled.
When Tony is looking through Howard Stark's briefcase, a copy of "Captain America #1" can be seen among the items. I've never seen this Easter egg mentioned before, so I thought I'd post it here.
In the Hotel de Paris scene, Elon Musk mentions to Tony he has an idea for an all electric plane. Following the Monaco race scene, Tony's plane is briefly viewed in flight, showing he's already beaten Musk to the invention.
When the grid order for the Monaco Grand Prix is updated to reflect Tony Stark's participation in the race, one of the drivers is called "Chapman", who happens to be driving a John Player Special Lotus. This is a hidden tribute to Colin Chapman, founder of Team Lotus and Lotus Cars.

The ExWife fizzles out when used on Vanko. The duo chastises Hammer's inferior tech, but it actually failed because Rhodes was standing still, and too close. The ExWife is a "Kinetic-kill" missile, which requires the added velocity of its supersonic firer, and time to get up to speed.
