The song that Benoit Blanc sings is "Losing My Mind", from the 1971 Stephen Sondheim musical "Follies". Rian Johnson wanted to include a Sondheim reference, because the composer was an "avowed mystery nut" and would throw murder mystery parties for his friends.
The murderer never holds an iPhone while most of the innocent characters do. Apple have a policy of not allowing bad guys to use their products.
Ransom was originally supposed to say F*ck You in this part. It was changed to Eat Sh*t right before shooting to keep a PG-13 rating.

Not sure if it was posted before but, during the questioning in Knives Out (2019), Linda's (Jamie Lee Curtis) flashback of the birthday shows her behind her father alongside Richard (Don Johnson). In Walt's (Michael Shannon) flashback, he's the one behind, alongside his wife.
