Kung Fu Panda 2 Movie Trivia
A Chinese euphemism, ?? (gu?ca?), "to hang colorful decorations," is used when someone is shot and killed. In Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), after killing Master Thundering Rhino with a cannon shot, Lord Shen's forces hang a colorful piece of fabric on his hammer.
Just before the final fight you can see both Shens theme colour (red) and Po's (yellow).
Lord Shen can be seen raising his wings into a up wards position embracing his own death. Shown in top and bottom images.
Accuracy details in Kung Fu Panda 2
Surprised no one noticed this. In Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) during this scene you can see that Lord Shens beak is rather than its normal black is instead a beige sort of white looking colour. The reason for this is due to the character having albinism and that the inks he uses probably worn off.
