Director Wes Craven has a cameo as a janitor called "Fred" who dresses like Freddy Kreuger.
For her iconic role in Scream (1996) Drew Barrymore told Wes Craven her "secrets" so he could easily make her cry on set.
Gale Weathers mentions that the film based on her book, Stab, would break box office records...in reality Scream 2 broke the December box office opening weekend record by over 30% in 1997 and held the record for 3 years too.
