Walker Movie Trivia
C3PO's very last line in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) is the exact same line that is his first one in Star Wars: A New Hope (1977).
Kylo Ren's repaired helmet is inspired by Kintsugi. The Japanese art of repair by mending cracks with lacquer mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. Kintsugi treats breakage/repair as the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.
During the scene where Ben and Rey force Is being absorbed by Palpatine, you can hear a reversed version of the Anakin and Padm? theme from the prequels.
Walker Movie Easter Eggs
Reys newly build lightsaber can be seen having green, blue and a yellow Kyber Crystal.
Rey transfers part of her life into a large snake to heal it, then remarks to BB-8 "You would've done the same." Later we see BB-8 do the same by transferring part of his battery life into D-0.
During Leia's training scene, you can see she uses some of the same moves Kylo Ren does through the trilogy.
The criminal drug dealer is named Frankie Lideo, a subtle nod to the movies director and Michaels then manager Frank DiLeo. DiLeo also played the gangster Tuddy Cicero in Goodfellas (1990)
Sees the return of two characters we haven't seen since Return of the Jedi (1983), Denis Lawson as Wedge Antilles and Warwick Davis as the Ewok Wicket (the other Ewok is Warwick's son Harrison).
A chimpanzee who's eyes are not visible repairs Kylo Ren's helmet. This is a reference to Palpatine's original appearance in The Empire Strikes Back, when the visual effects department created his look by superimposing chimp eyes onto Ian Mcdiarmid's face.
A grave is seen with the name of director Sam Peckimpah. Peckinpah had a huge influence on Walkers director Alex Cox.
Rey heals a threatening Vexis Snake, pacifying it. BB-8 looks at her, so she says "I just transferred some of my life energy. You would have done the same." Later, BB-8 finds an abandoned enemy droid D-O, and transfers some of his energy to revive him.
