We get a second, more subtle, Hugh Jackman reference. Deadpool's map has a mention of Prisoner 24601 on it. That is Jean Valjean's prisoner number from Les Miserables, who was also played by Jackman.

During the showcase of Domino's powers, deadpool asks the one who thought of luck as a super power. "probably a guy who can't draw feet". Who was Rob Liefeld, creator of Domino and Deadpool, who was known for finding ways not to draw feet.

Cable's time machine is a Carl F. Bucherer watch. Other Carl F Bucherer watches have appeared in other David Letich films such as John Wick 2 and Atomic Blonde.

Cable is seen to steal ammunition and weapons from an Army Navy store along with an electric guitar. He takes the dial from the guitar and attaches it to his gun. This is a reference to "This is Spinal Tap" when we see him later dialling it upto a scratched-in 11.

During the interview scene everyone who gets the knife on their picture dies.

The background music being used when Deadpool is dying is the same that's being used in Logan (2017) when Logan is dying.

The dream/near death sequences reference the Dreaming from Sandman (Neil Gaiman)

Cable's gun's strength setting nob goes to 11...referencing the famous line from Spinal Tap "these go to 11"
