When T'Challa is the king the soundtrack is more Tribal with drums and capella songs but when Killmonger becomes a king the soundtrack turns into Rap/Hip-Hop songs showing the difference between the characters and how they were raised.

The costumes of Nakia, T'Challa and Okoye resemble the pan African flag

After Kay blows up Edgar the bug from the inside, you can see Edgar's top half moving into position in the background behind them. This is how he is able to surprise attack them during their conversation about the galaxy.
