Batman says that the sonar device is "null-key encrypted". This was added as a joke since it actually means that there is no encryption. -

The Joker manages to get a peek of the commissioner's watch to determine how much time he has left until the timers run out.




Right after Bruce Wayne tells Rachel that Gotham needs a hero with a face, Harvey Dent appears. As he approaches them half of his face gets covered by (fore)shadow.
At the beginning of the movie, the bank robbers quickly learn that the bank vault is protected by high voltage. Later, one of the robbers can be seen using his shoes on the dial to avoid being shocked.
During their first fight in the sewer, Bane gives away that he isn't the child that escaped The Pit by telling Batman "I didn't see the light until I was already a man..."
's joker(Heath Ledgar)wore same mask that joker(Cesar Romero)wore on the first Batman series(1966)when he showed up in the bank.

The robber disabling the silent alarm says "That's funny, it didn't dial out to 911 it was trying to reach a private number." The private number was for the mob, so they would know their money was being stolen before the police would.


Batman hands over a mini mine to Detective Blake to throw at the entrance of the sealed manhole which causes a small explosion, because it was to warn the cops stuck on the other side for a bigger explosion to be caused by the Batpod's missile.


During the Joker interrogation scene, the Joker makes the Batman choose between Harvey and Rachel, and actually explains to the Batman that he's going to have to choose who dies. By choosing Rachel (thinking he'll be saving her), hes choosing her to die instead.
