J. Jonah Jameson name-drops Dr. Strange, which was owned by Miramax. The Walt Disney Company had purchased Miramax in 1993, marking the first time that Sony used the name of a Disney-Marvel property in a Spider-Man film.

Bruce Campbell portrays a snooty usher at a play and says the line "... it helps maintain the illusion". Bruce Campbell was supposed to play the villain Mysterio, the master of illusions, in the unreleased Spider-Man 4.

J. Jonah Jameson confirms that Doctor Strange exists; hinting at an already expanded Marvel Universe.

"Spider-Man" (2002), Peter is bitten by the spider after snapping several photos of Mary Jane during a field trip. In "Spider-Man 2" (2004), one of those photos can be seen framed in Peter's apartment.

Electro's cake is a nod to the original costume

A man turns towards the camera for a brief moment. This is Thomas Jane's stunt double, reprising the actor's role as the Punisher from the 2004 flick after he was unavailable for the filming of this cameo.

Peter Parker has duct tape on his backpack to further show that he is struggling financially and can't afford a new backpack.

The pizza delivery service Peter works for is a real pizza restaurant in NYC.

When Harry Osborne gains access to the drive his father gave him many files appear. Directly under Dr. Connors file there's a file for Dr. Morbius who is also a Spider-Man villain from the comics that had not been mentioned before in the movies.

And Spider-Man 3 (2007) the name of Peter Parker's landlord, Mr. Ditkovich can sound familiar to many Marvel fans, that's because it's an homage to Spider-Man co-creator, Steve Ditko.

Spider-Man's appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) begins and ends within his back spider. I made this edit to show the similarity.

Peter loses his powers, and while fixing his bike wheel, it flings away and goes out the balcony. This shows he has lost his spidey-sense to predict it would fling away, and his organic web-shooters to catch the flying wheel.
